Welcome back for another amazing year everyone!

• There will be Cross Country Practice (Grades 2-8) on Monday, September 8th from 2:30-3:30pm and Tuesday, September 16th from 2:30-3:30pm. Practice dates after those weeks TBA.

• Students must returned signed permission forms to be eligible for practices and meets. Don’t forget to check with your primary care physician for the status of your child’s sports physical. Physicals are good for one calendar year. 

• Uniforms are provided to students free of charge thanks to the generosity of local Alexander businesses! Shirt sizes have already been collected from students. 

• The Cross Country North Division Schedule is as follows:

09/18 @ Calais Waterfront
09/25 @ Alexander School (looking for volunteers to help with this meet)
10/02 @ Princeton School
10/09 @ Indian Township School
10/16 @ Indian Township School (Divisional Races)
10/22 @ Calais Moosehorn Headquarters (League Championship Races)

• All meets start at 4:00pm. Bus departure schedule will be posted before the first meet.

• There is a scheduled Early Release Day for all students on Wednesday, September 17th for a Teacher Workshop. Students will be dismissed at 11:30am on this day. 

• School Picture Day will be on Monday, September 29th at 8:30am. Please order online with Lifetouch or return forms to the office.

• Please return all forms sent home requiring parent/guardian signatures before September 12th, 2025. Updated emergency contact forms will be sent home next week for completion.
