The Alexander 8th Grade will be holding a bottle drive on Saturday, May 19th, between 9:00-12:00 in the Alexander and Crawford area. If you have any bottles you would like to donate and would like to drop them off at the Can Man in Calais just let them know it’s for Alexander 8th Grade. On Saturday, May 19th at 6:30 p.m. there will be a free family movie night at the Grange. Popcorn and beverage will be provided, must be accompanied by an adult. The movie is LEAP, for more information contact Lenny or Debbie at 454-8733.
The Spring Concert will be taking place on Monday, May 21st at 6:00 p.m. Students do not forget to bring your instruments as there will be a dress rehearsal in the afternoon.
On Thursday, May 24th the students in grades 6-8 will be going to release salmon in Crawford. Please sign and return the permission slip going home today.
The Science Fair will take place on Tuesday, May 29th from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Yearbooks are on sale for $10.00 each.
There will be two softball scrimmages with East Range II School on Wednesday, May 23rd at AES and on Thursday, May 24th the team will travel to Topsfield. Both games start at 4:00 p.m.
The 8th grade are selling tickets on a boys and girls baskets for $0.50. Drawing on the 8th of June.
Beginning Monday, May 21st the 8th grade will be selling tickets on a summer basket with lots of goodies. Tickets will be $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. All proceeds go to the 8th grade.
There will be a Free Hunter Safety Course on June 23rd at the Alexander Grange Hall from 9-4. Please contact Len Hanson for more information at 454-8733.
All softball players are welcome to attend a get together on Friday, May 25th from 2:30-4:00. Please remember to turn in all uniforms by Friday. ☺
