  •   We will be tie dying t-shirts on Monday so please dress your child accordingly. No need to send items in as we have shirts for the students.
  •   Yearbooks are now on sale for $12.00 each. Don’t forget to get your 2022 Yearbooks!
  •   Reminder that it is peak tick season in Maine, while we remind and encourage students to conduct self-checks for ticks after playing outside at recess, we recommend daily checks after students arrive home from school or after playing outdoors any time as well.
  •   AES was donated at-home COVID tests earlier this month, if any family is interested in receiving some please contact the school.
  •   Reminder we are asking all students to bring a water bottle with them to school. Please remember to send your child with inside footwear also.
  •   As part of a writing assignment in Writing Lab, 4-6th grade students were given the opportunity to fill out a scholarship. Students learned about college and trade programs and schools that offered the programs they were interested in. After researching these colleges and programs, they applied to a scholarship to learn about the process. Most students applied to the Future of Eastern Maine Scholarship which had an award of $100 for winners, but those who were interested in a medical field could apply to the Johnson/Wolfberg Health Scholarship which had an award of $500 for winners due to its length and complexity.
It is with great pride that we share with the community that Hailey Richard won and will be a recipient of the scholarship upon her high school graduation! In her application, she wrote about her goals of becoming a nurse practitioner and minimizing the effects of the flu and Covid in her community. Great job, Hailey!
